This is not the greatest sig in the world, no. This is just a tribute.
Well... it's a new to the area species of mosquito so we're not really fucking with shit in a bad way but trying to revert it. Provided that this mosquito breed didn't displace all the others in the time of it's presence, this shouldn't be too bad. If it did though, goodbye several bird populations.

The angel agreed to trade a set of white wings for the head of another demon. Overjoyed, the demon killed one of his own and plucked the head right off its still-warm body.

Well, serious for those who care about bird populations and their usual migratory habits.
Or the birds themselves. There was a big exodus of owls from the north east of the state back in 90's that took till the mid 2000's to somewhat fix due to overzealous mosquito controll.
