Most likely, she supports CommonCrap which is total opposite of improving education
Common Core is fine so long as the localities can perform the implementation themselves. Although, I certainly think the education system as a whole needs to be overhauled, having minimum requirements isn't a step in the wrong direction.

Do you mean minimum standards (for scores), or minimum requirements for subject material? Minimum standards promote mediocrity.
Requirements for subject material.

Oh. Yeah, that's a good idea. I'd prefer to see required material be applicable to real life and/or future degrees. The fact that Physical Education/Gym is a requirement to graduate is nonsense, in my opinion. I know that's a nearly insignificant example, but you get the gist.

That's contradictory since the purpose is to have all schools follow the same path
No. That's not contradictory. Like, in the slightest.

Using the same road doesn't necessitate driving the same car.
Having states/cities make changes destroys the point of Common Core
No, having them go below Common Core standards would destroy the point of Common Core.

Going above and beyond is universally accepted as a good thing.

Common core is a minimum standard, not a maximum.
Except schools that have higher standards have to lower their standards because other schools in the same state don't follow theirs
I'd like a source on that.

No Fox or Breitbart pls

How can it dumb it down if it makes standards higher?

Except it doesn't make standards higher. It makes schools that are ahead subjected to a decrease standard in order t be on equal footing with other schools

What logic did you use to draw the conclusion that a minimum requirement will bring standards down.

State A has two school districts. District 1 has already higher standards than District 2. The state passes Common Core with D-2 meeting the minimum but D-1 exceeding the minimum and because of such, the state lowers D-1 because it's easier to lower standards for a better off school than to raise them for a school that isn't as far off

Now give me an example of this actually happening.
