Posting in Serious to avoid Flood shenanigans. If you find it doesn't belong here, just lock it. Don't move to The Flood.

Last year I lost half a dozen friends or family members to various forms of cancer. In 2015 I'm slated to lose at least 2 more.

Gettin' real tired of your shit, cancer.

You will find out who you are not a thousand times, before you ever discover who you are. I hope you find peace in yourself and learn to love instead of hate.
Seriously?  I'm interested in seeing the statistics for cancer rates in the US.

I haven't actually read any of it, but there's tons of info here. Nothing convenient enough to link a chart or graph, though

This is the way the world ends. Not with a bang but a whimper.

This shouldn't be in Serious.

I'm sorry to hear that, though. My step-father lost both his parents to cancer.

I mean, it doesn't, but I really want to avoid the "lol your family member deserved it" bullshit from The Flood.

Sucks, bro. It's a pretty terrible thing all around.

Although, recently, a lot of advertisements in the U.K. have been pronouncing that this is the first time in history that at least 50pc of people diagnosed with cancer will live for a further five years.

Slow and steady.
