the fact that airlines can overbook planes on purpose sickens me. the employees can go fuck themselves, they can catch the next flight, those people paid and should be expected to go to their destinations without any repercussions. in this case, no one should be kicked off just because of an error in booking.

There's a lot of revenue in it and regionals need a lot more money to operate than international or coast-to-coast nonstop flights because upwards of six cycles a day really adds up fast on your limited life components. It's a bitch and really annoying to get bumped because of it, but it's just a thing that has to be in the airline industry unless you want to see even higher ticket prices.
