They've pretty much maintained the same level of popularity until recently.I just think brushing off their resurgence in popularity is a bit dangerous. I think they should be taken as seriously as they take themselves. I don't want to draw a Nazi comparison here because it is indeed weak but no one took them seriously in the beginning and that didn't turn out very well.
