That was the wrong move. Perhaps if he read these questions beforehand he'd be able to prepare better answers.

He tried to say: "Don't wait for work to come to you. Go out and get it. Pursue it"
Basically do whatever he can to do work. Don't be stingy on what jobs you receive. But he came off as saying "pfffft go get a job mowing lawns"

 He shouldn't have even mentioned giving money to the network.


He's got some good advice sometimes, but Pat can also say the wrong things sometimes. He's only human.

Pat didn't ask him to donate, he told the guy to pray for a job whenever he does donate. Holy shit guys, I know echo chambers are fun but this is a trivial little clip. He's an old guy that thinks it's still possible to get a job raking leaves or mowing lawns, give a little leeway.
