If I'm not here, I'm doing photography. Or I'm asleep. Or in lockdown. One of those three, anyway.

The current titlebar/avatar setup is just normal.
I'm guessing the orange slivers are conflict areas?

So are the Kurds fighting everyone else or for the rebels/Assad?

You will find out who you are not a thousand times, before you ever discover who you are. I hope you find peace in yourself and learn to love instead of hate.
Assad is winning against rebels in the north and south thanks to Russian carpet bombing! They're losing to ISIS though in Deir Ezzor to the west. The Kurds are part of the Syrian democratic forces (SDF) along with Arabs and they're looking to close the border with Turkey at Manbij. They're pretty safe the whole north east region is theirs and they've got the backing of the worlds best air force. The tide is on SDF and Assad's hands it's only a matter of time before the rebels completely collapse. Reports that Assad's troops are mobilising around Aleppo are becoming more frequent so operations to take can't be too far away.

Russia and Assad coming out on top with the Kurds being able to just draw borders where they stand now would probably be the best feasible outcome right now.

Too bad Russian escalation couldn't solve anything fast enough thanks to FSA and ISIS being bankrolled. Even if America wouldn't support an insurgency should FSA lose coherency, Saudi sure as hell would keep pouring money into making life hell for anyone and everyone who just wants a clean and safe resolution.
