I dunno, I'd rather try and take this in stride despite the fact that I'm completely dissatisfied with how the election went, and that's even excluding the presidential choice itself.

But you're not, and you won't be. You'll sit in your room, poison yourself, "take it in stride," and hope things get better. When they fucking won't. SPOILER, SHOCK HORROR

Deci, your lack of caring about "just an election", like millions of other voters, is what allows shit like tonight to happen. The Presidency alone isn't a big deal, but the majorities in Congress, governors, state legislatures, and most importantly, SCOTUS - which will change and impact you for the next several decades.

You may not like either of them, and fine. But your lack of intelligence and empathy for people who are directly going to be impacted by the results of tonight is why I say that a middle schooler is more informed than you.

Because they at least have the understanding to shut up at times.

So now your resorting to bully tactics because I'm voicing my own political opinion. I'm actually glad that Donald Trump is winning. I may not like the guy, but I'm glad that he's winning, and if he were to lose and Clinton came up on top, I wouldn't take it as piss poorly as the rest of you are. I personally dislike Clinton and I have many good reasons why. I'm not going to list those reasons because it will be a never ending flamewar and nothing will be resolved.

The country in general is fucked, and I personally think that Clinton will fuck it up more compared to Trump. We've had Clinton for 30 years in the white house, we know what she's done. Trump is just an entertainer, a developer and a business man, and as baffling as it sounds, he's the only candidate that actually might bring some good to this country and possibly have a lot of issues fixed, such as illegal immigration, which maybe for the rest of you its not a problem, but its a BIG problem in California.

However, with that said, there's absolutely no need to get childish and start resorting to insults. Icy, you degrading my intelligence because of who I voted for and what my political stance is, that's quite low of you. I was honestly expecting better from you.

I'm actually trying to handle the topic as maturely as I can, because I know how heated politics can get. I honestly do think its possible to have a civil discussion about this, without everyone throwing on their personal vendetta. SecondClass actually handled things very poorly in a Discord server, went as far off as to saying I'm a horrible person and called me a retard because of my political stance, mind you I have no political preference, I swing both parties because the parties don't matter to me, its the candidate that's the least damaging from my stance that does.

I personally think if we allow ourselves to constantly have a political banter like this, its only going to give people new reasons to hate each other, which honestly its extremely stupid.

We need to learn to get along if we want to survive as a community, let alone as people. We can't let someone's political views be an excuse to demean someone, and this is coming from me. I've learned all of this the hard way. I've nearly lost a friend over things like this and I'm willing to put things like this in the back burner. All I did was find CNN's reaction and whatnot funny because they did Clinton a big favor. That was it, you didn't have to go so far just to give me shit for it.

Again, coming from me, can't we all just get along? This shit happens every 4-8 years and its always likely to be a shitshow, and this year, this election was quite a match.

We can't let everyone's political views turn us into a bunch of savages, otherwise we're going to hold pointless grudges towards each other.
