Donald Trump and African Americans

The African American demographic is clearly vehemently anti-Trump. However, I cannot seem to recall Trump having said anything about the demographic, aside from referring to them using terminology that could be considered outdated (I believe he referred to them as "the blacks"). I know that if I search the internet I'll just get a bunch of articles from sites like Salon, so I decided to make my inquiry here instead. My question is as follows: what has Donald Trump said about the African American community? Is it simply fear mongering by the left?

Please provide factual, unbiased answers.

Yeah, that's why I was curious. As far as I was aware the only demographic he had said anything about was Latino immigrants.

More about what he hasn't said, and this applies to so many communities. If you listen to many of his speeches, they all have one thing in common: filler, and not substance. Instead of giving specific plans to help communities, Trump will instead say:

"I have so many black employees, and they all love me."
"I have made so many friends in Japan, and the Japanese all love me."

Rinse and repeat with whatever population group you want.

It's one of the reasons that Trump has succeeded with those who are not traditional voters. Instead of saying what he has done or will do, he simply says everyone loves him and it makes it sound like he has done a lot.

From as much as I've seen, heard, and read, he hasn't said anything anti-black. He more or less treats them like they have their own agency, which they do, but in turn, blacks of the black community feel the need to band together because they're black and then label Trump as a racist with no solid ground. Mostly what people call Trump a racist for is that he wants to build a wall between us and Mexico, and that he wants to put a temporary ban on bringing in Muslims. However, neither of these are racist. The wall is to stop/slow illegal immigration, whereas Trump is not against legal immigration. And Islam is a religion and an ideology with strong cultural ties. It's not racist to want to keep out a vile culture that wants to actually oppress women and to jail/murder gays. Long story short, Trump hasn't said anything against black people for being black.

I thought he did better with Black voters than other candidates but I not 100 percent sure on that. Repubs just do shitty with non whites because of the Democratic machine and social pressure instilled by some to not be like whites within black communities and culture (calling other blacks coons pretty much).

Which is nonsense because historically the Republican Party fostered diversity and inclusion while the Democratic Party were the oppressors. Lincoln freed the slaves (Republican). Democrats were the party of Jim Crow and segregation. The JFK assassination, which led to political pressure on LBJ (a massive racist) to support the Civil Rights Act, turned the tables. Since then, the Republicans have gerrymandered themselves into oblivion with minority voters. I was holding out hope that Marco Rubio could began to right the ship, but that didn't work out.

I don't believe Trump is a racist. However, I give him credit for knowing that many of his staunchest supporters, in fact, are. He's effectively flirted the racial line for months now, by condoning racially motivated violence at his rallies, and by failing to condemn bigoted comments by his supporters. Trump the man may not be racist, but Trump the campaign most certainly is.

I don't see how that's racially charged. Belligerent, sure, but he's obviously referring to protesters who are there to intentionally stir shit, black or white.

Seems more like his big "us or them" mentality. He in turn supports the people who support him so it seems more like a big family, a "movement". I'm sure if a black supporter of his beat the hell out of a Trump protestor, he'd pay his legal fees and applaud him, too.

The problem is that black people tend to not support Trump, let alone support him enough to get into fights to defend his honor.
