I would.Humans as a species are social creatures, and for the majority of us, would go insane without it for long periods of time. It's psychological rather than physical, and I'd argue it leaves a more lingering effect afterwards than physical torture. I remember in the 19th century they tried to rehabilitate prisoners with experimental "treatments", one of which was limiting social interactions to just a prison guard and a chaplain, even in exercise they were in isolation with blindfolds and distanced to prevent whispering. The results were rather negative, with increased cases of insanity and several suicides, and the experiment was abandoned. So yes, solitary confinement and social isolation is tantamount to torture.
Nope

Either way you'd be wrong, because it is torture and causes insanity. But you could at least present your point intelligently.

If you don't, though, at least explain your position. Quote>all answers that are not yes are incorrectIndeed. Either have a genuine conversation about the topic at hand, or don't post in this thread.Tell it to Kinder. I've asked him twice now to get back on topic. It's my thread after all. I'm not going to stop posting.

Quote from: Prime Meridia on January 11, 2015, 11:08:26 AMSorry for off-topic, but: Does Challenger have a funny picture to passive aggressively use against anybody on the forum, just a chosen few, or just Kinder?I don't know, Kinder is funny because of the "Surprise" part, because what he says is never surprising and always predictable. If you have any good ideas though let me know.

No. If you're in solitary, you usually deserve it
