Another veteran chewed up and spit out by the military industrial complex the minute they stopped being useful.Sad, but not a surprise when you look at how soldiers have been treated throughout history.
People like Edward Snowden, Chelsea Manning, and Julian Assange are heroes. They risk everything to ensure that information is not withheld from other people. The US government thinks it can do whatever it wants and keep its citizens in the dark, and then they try to act like these people did something wrong and try to label them as traitors, it is sick.
I don't give two fucks how veterans are treated, however I do give a fuck about trans rights. It's their right to be able to receive the treatment they need. The fact that sending her to prison wasn't enough, they're withholding the treatment that she needs. Makes my blood boil.
Well Manning is a veteran, so clearly you do care how at least one of them is treated. What I'm saying is, this is just the latest case in a long line of society's indifference towards the soldiers it claims to venerate. Veterans with PTSD have been ignored for years, why should veterans with gender dysphoria be treated any different?
Not seeing why you're so biased against veterans, but fair enough.
Oh, I agree with you there. I'm just saying that veterans don't necessarily deserve to shoulder the brunt of the blame.War is, for the most part, manufactured by the ruling class to protect their property. Soldiers usually come from the working class, and are either forced or manipulated into service.
Huh, I actually agree with you.
Good. Its a HE.
Because military service is nothing to be proud of.
This is in Serious, PSU. No place for comments like this.
Then I guess you have NOTHING to be proud of in your sad life.
Because the military = everything doesn't it?Id advise you to re-read the rules, no starting fights in here.
It'll be great if you actually manage to get yourself banned over this, PSU.
>taking PSU seriouslyyou guys should know better by now
You're the only one here starting fights when you make comments like that.No military doesn't equal everything. But service is DAMN sure something to be proud of.
I'm 100% serious. Any questions?
In your opinion, my opinion differs. And where we differ is that I'm not attacking you for yours. Id advise you to show the same courtesy to your fellow forum goers.
It's not my problem that you aren't smart enough to figure it out.
