To the West it can look like the French, but when giving Asia full consideration, the Soviet influence has undoubtedly changed the lives of more people and shaped international politics to this day.

But uh... I gotta think the French revolution not happening would have a bigger impact on Europe than the '17 Russian revolt not happening would. Russian Empire was bretty evil too, maybe not Soviet evil, but I'm sure that there still would have been the Cold War period following the Tsar's hypothetical involvement in WWII.

Russkie one for sure, if that hadn't happened the commies wouldn't have gotten into power and killed a hundred million people through incompetence and pogroms.

Let alone the space race, cold war tech developments and on the flipside being the beartrap that hitler put his goosestepping boot into which cost him WW2.

Eh...

French Revolution scared the UK away from poltical reform for about a century and led to yet another war with the French, while the Russian one sent them on their way to communism and a lot of things that still have an effect today.

I'd have to go with the Bolsheviks on this one.

The Russian one since that led to the creation of the Soviet Union which has done major things.

Well alot of conflicts and revolutions from past till bow could have had a huge effect in the world if it did not occur.

Example the reconquest of Spain by the Christians.

Also a saying that i remember. The Ottomans came to Europe with a sword in one hand and the pipe in the other. If not for the pipe the turks would have conquered Europe.
