Eagle scout here. Yes, it was worth it. I'll encourage my kids to participate in scouting as well, if I have any.

It's like kids can't have fun anymore. Do adults just forget how it was to be a kid? Because I remember pretty clearly that playing with water guns wasn't unkind. It was all in good fun. It's at the point where I feel bad for kids.
