polls suggest that if a GE is held after the brexit deadline and brexit hasn't happened tories will lose a big chunk of their support to brexit party, which might cost them this election. will be interesting either way.

Even though polls have Remain/Referendum parties on around 53% of the vote, same parties receiving a majority of the vote in the European Elections. I know polls aren't always the most trustworthy things but this is hardly "tanking". If Boris does get a majority it's only because FPTP is a broken system, not because most people want Brexit.
