I did refute by saying there's a difference between murder and drug possession, which is serious but not a threat like a loose murderer is.

And if you're going to link a jack-head Youtuber, then make sure your links actually work because this is a drop in tickets and summons

And again, something like public uriniation while promotes a possible health risk and should be dealt with by taking the individual off the streets is not something credibly equal to a murder, robbery, or kidnapping

I've got a somewhat related story to something raised by kinder about public urination.

So my grandpa's brother (Great-Uncle) used to be a police officer right, back in the good old days of bongistan coppers. Now he used to work in birmingham, in one of the rougher areas. There was this back alley running past a pub, now of course that's prime territory for shady business but one of the other problems was that drunks used to piss all over the front of this guy's pub/bar. The bar owner puts this sheet of corrugated iron there to try and shield his premises from the worst of the downfall but it's basically just used for 'target practice'.
So one day, my great-uncle gets called out to investigate a crime scene there. There is a guy being treated by the paramedics and basically his dick got fried. So after making a few inquiries he went towards this bar to have a look around.

The owner of the bar had finally had enough with these miscreants, who clearly weren't paying heed to him shouting at them/calling the police constantly. What he'd done was wire up a car battery to this piece of metal with some jump leads (Or cables anyhow) so what happened when this drunkard had unzipped, whipped and started to piss was of course - made a strong connection with his urine and had had a few volts shoot right up into his urethra.

So my uncle took the bar owner in for questioning and I don't remember what he booked him for, but the drunk was left with a scorched donger and my uncle with a great anecdote e.e

None of the links go anywhere...?

De Blasio is a god-awful mayor on police issues. He fired the old police chief because of stop & frisk just to hire a new chief who also supports that policy. His wife's aide had a boyfriend with a history criminal behavior, including murder, who also made hostile statements against the police and sees discrimination where there is none. De Blasio is extremely cozy with Al Sharpton, a persistent anti-cop race-baiter with seemingly constant tax troubles (he's not good at paying them).

Never mind that he still wants to ban horse carriages from Central Park because of the alleged "abuse" occurring, despite the overwhelming evidence to the contrary that he refuses to acknowledge. (The real reason is likely that developers have money to make from putting their competition out of business.) He's basically bribing the carriage drivers by offering them taxi medallions--which would unfairly put them at the front of a very long waiting list. It's about as shady as you can get.

He sees no problem with ignorance as long as it furthers his fantastical liberal agenda.

Are we going to start blaming everyone for the people they're marginally associated with?

A person in his position should not associate with someone like that.

So should De Blasio make his wife's aide break up with her boyfriend? Fire the aide because of her boyfriend? How do you even remedy that situation?

So, an aide of his wife (Who, as a First Lady, holds little power) once dated a guy with criminal history.

That's a very thin string to tie to De Blasio, Kupo. That's like saying, because Obama dated a girl whose brother was a drug dealer, he is for illegal drugs.

The point is that most of what he says and does is not conducive to the appearance of supporting the police. From the people he associates with to the things he disingenuously claims he says to his son, he's not doing a good job convincing anyone he likes the NYPD.

so what you're saying is that you think it's a problem, but you don't have a solution for it, which means you're just bitching for the sake of bitching and have no real reason for it.

Solution would have been to not elect him in the first place, but the candidate field was lousy >.>

But he also could 1) have kept Ray Kelly as commissioner (his firing was largely political as opposed to job performance) and 2) not associate with Al Sharpton, as opposed to having Sharpton behind him during his speeches.

He's done about everything he shouldn't have done.

Listen, I'm not defending De Blasio; I think he's shitty. But your reasoning as to why it matters what someone several-degrees-removed from him has said and done is stupid.
