Best and worst presidents/prime ministers?

Thought I'd bring this back, since why the fuck not?

So, who was the best president of the US over whatever time period? Who was the worst? And (primarily bongs) the same question for British prime ministers.

Best president: don't have a fucking clue to be honest. I like Calvin Coolidge, although I don't know much about him, and Clinton probably deserves a mention but his foreign policy was kind of sucky.

Worst president: FDR was pretty awful policy-wise. Can't have a worst presidents list without mentioning either Jimmy Carter or Dubya though.

Best prime minister: Margaret Thatcher, duh.

Worst prime minister: I'm reading Cameron at 10 at the moment, which is a biography of Cameron's premiership, and the authors compare him to Gordon Brown quite a bit. Fuck me, Brown was dysfunctional.

I'll be honest, I don't know much of Lloyd George's policies. He's my favourite because he's a proponent of our fundamental rights to bomb dune coons.

Best: JFK/Johnson. I say Johnson because his political maneuvering to carry on JFK's policies was an insanely hard feat. So I throw them hand in hand. Naturally his Vietnam shit was bad.

Worst: Andrew Johnson. The man basically brought on a hundred more years of oppression by duh white man. Anyone who says Bush doesn't know their history.

Ronald Reagan single handedly implemented policies that made our economy crash when Bush was in office, revived the retarded idea that "no government = good" when you need government for fundamental things to drive an economy, and a foreign policy plan that was hats off retarded. Carter is insanely underrated. That's not to say his whole thing with Iran wasn't a disaster (those helicopters crashing were obviously not his fault), but yeah.

Reagan's economics (reganomics) set in motion the great recession we are still experiencing. Besides, to say Bush is the worst is too soon. It takes a LONG time to feel the effects of a presidents policies and actions. We're just now getting the fallout from Bush, and it's obviously not great.

But I refuse to think he is the worst.

I mentioned him because if Kennedy wasn't assassinated, odds are he wouldn't have been able to push his policies as soon as Johnson for more than a number of reasons. Johnson is well regarded for how he maneuvered against people opposing it, even going as far as pure intimidation. Something along the lines of

"If you get in my way, I will take you down." or something like that.

Everyone says it because everyone else says it. Carter was not the worst and Reagan was not the best. Carter was mediocre and Reagan is low tier. However the right wing propaganda blasting at full volume would have you believe otherwise.
