He was pretty embarrassing though. I'm amazed people have deluded themselves into thinking Jeb can win a general election.

My biggest gripes with Bush is that he seemed way over his head a lot of the time, and in situations that anyone would have struggled with. He seemed ignorant on a lot of subjects, and that probably didn't help his choice of responses.

He is polling above a lot of other candidates, and carries similar policies to many of them. I do think that he will get a great boost once the nominee options slim down, but my issue is with who the other options will end up being. I'm sorry but if my other options are Trump, Fiorina, or Carson, I'm going Bush.

He does have a valid point even if he himself isn't valid. Take the aurora movie theatre shooting. One guy against an entire theatre's worth of people. If everybody in there charged him they could've taken him down.

At that point, people are going to die anyway regardless of whether they run to, or away from the shooter.

But this all just smells like typical political pandering anyway. Trivial, empty pandering.

He's actually a pretty intelligent man.

It's just that his proposed policies are crazy.

His ideology is fairly complex and interesting by Republican standards.

I think some of you guys need to realise something...the whole 'could have charged him down but some will die' argument is stupid.

In that situation most people will think only of themselves, thus only wanting to live, tie that in with the fear of the situation, that person is either going to want to run, or be stunned with fear. I don't think anyone would charge an armed person head on. Thats stupid.
