Alrighty, so the company I work for 'Australia Post' is going to start charging people $3 each week a parcel is held at one of our stores until its held for a month then is sent back (generally if someone is gone they tell us and holding it is fine....accept now we charge them)
So of course the media got a hold of this and they are exploding about how the post is doing a blatant cash grab ect ect (which it kind of is) and we're all being classed as thieves. Which to be honest if you bought something youll generally want it the moment it arrives, which begs the question $3 isnt an awful lot to hold something for an extended amount of time, add that to the fact we literally drown in peoples parcel, it makes sense we'd charge as we're running out of room.
So I just wanted your opinions on the matter, and if you find it justified or not.
(Itll be awkward when someone refuses to pay and we cant give them their parcel)
