The contents don't really matter. Its still an invasion of privacy and if you're okay with it that just speaks to how fucked we truly are.

On the internet privacy does not exist, it never has. I understand this but clearly you just learned about it. Everything you do on the internet is recorded by your ISP. It's like buying a phone contract and being baffled when you learn that they track your calls, messages, and location.

Presumably, your emails are the property and responsibility of Google, but the conditions you agree to give you tacit and explicit, legal ownership over then.

Nobody is stealing your emails or reading them. Your operating system absolutely needs to be able to detect programs and data on your local disk to function, and you absolutely don't have a right to use pirated software.

It's not "private information" because you are not hosting the data. You are paying for the access, and for the ISP, to host everything you do. They host the data, they hold it's contents. As I said, if you don't like how those rules are you are always welcome to petition the Supreme Court to change the 4th Amendment:
