This is not the greatest sig in the world, no. This is just a tribute.
Manual safeties have never stopped Lt's from shooting themselves in the leg, so I wouldn't be worried about the lack of one.

I've heard nothing but good about the p320 and if I was in the market for a full sized handgun that isn't a five-seven, I'd highly consider one. Good move, army. Hopefully now we have a service pistol that doesn't kill itself the moment you step in to a desert.

My brother got a sig when he rotated back from Afghanistan. Said it was more reliable and accurate. I don't remember the M9 all that well, so I'll take his word on it
