What do you think?

I kept seeing the dang Captain Morgan ad on youtube and finally decided to look into it.

This petition...with only 8,000...wants President Obama to call Congress to discuss the possibility of allowing an under 35 president.
The reasoning being that there are currently 75 million millennials in the US and many of them have helped innovate and create in many ways, but they cannot innovate in the highest seat of the USA.

What do you think? Under 35 President in 2020?

This is ridiculous. Once you're an adult, you're an adult. You should be able to run for any political office at 18, and if the majority thinks you're fit to serve, then you get to.

Good thing I should note about that ad Captain Morgan made.

Almost all of the people they showed were over the age of 25, closer to 30.

I think that if the White House ever even considers this the best they'll get is 30 years old.

35 seems arbitrary for today's standards but I can't imagine anybody below that (or even 40) having the political acumen to be a viable candidate.

seems like a stupid restriction to me

i mean if no one under the age of 35 has the required experience to be the president than you have nothing to worry about. a competency test of some sort would be more pragmatic considering your potential leader come winter.
