Changing their registrations from Democrat to independent so they can't vote in closed primaries. 54,000 people in Brooklyn had this happen to them and that area was projected to be strong for Bernie.

Big business favors the Clintons since they're essentially blue republicans. When it's mentioned it's usually in a passing segment and not done as a big story.

Allegedly 3.2 million people across the state were purged.

...how can this even happen? This is some third world "democracy" shit from unstable countries in the Middle East (or Russia) where ballots conveniently forget to mention the name of the opposing candidate or someone ends up with 140% of all votes. I've never cared that much about the US elections because of how much of a populist joke they all are, but how in the world does stuff like this even fly?

it isnt really public knowledge. most americans subscribe to the vague idea that "politicians are bad", but dont really comprehend the sheer scope of the corruption and power consolidation going on within the elite class. we're too busy trying to keep our jobs, pay off our student loans, have families to try and change the world.

The one good thing that may come from this election even if the candidates people actually want don't win is the fact that more people will become aware of how the primaries work due to the blatant corruption going on I'm the establishment of both parties.

But then the question is what can we do about it?  Sure we can learn for next time, but even then, if either side doesn't like who we vote for and the rig the system, what then?

Last time the parties picked candidates the people didn't actually want there were riots at their conventions. That's why there's a public vote for the primary now instead of the candidate being picked solely by the party elites. It's doubtful that people will riot again, but a way to help alleviate the problem would to be to force the parties to hold open primaries across all 50 states via legislation. This way the purging tactics can't be used to stifle the vote from groups the party elites don't want voting.

Of course this wont change anything for this election and even the lawsuits being brought against the DNC in Arizona and New York for this kind of behavior won't resolve anything until after the general election is well underway or already over.

Bernie dudes need to hope that Hillary's FBI investigation leads into places that will lead to her being unable to run due to a possible indictment, Trump dudes need to hope that he can secure enough delegates to avoid a contested convention.

No, it is not. And I fully support a revote if it ends up that it was allegedly tampered with.

That said, I disagree with LC that primaries should be open in all fifty states.
