A severe clamp down or at least restriction of mass immigration from the Middle East.

Ensure that the people coming into the country are actually assimilating and don't view the West as a target.

Invest more funding into groups that try to nullify extremism.

Just a select few off the top of my head.

I'm not sure what else needs to be clarified. The shooter is a Muslim and his motives are pretty transparent. What exactly do you expect is going to come to light here? That he was actually a Buddhist this whole time?

At some point you have to realise that banning shit isn't going to stop this, you have to tackle the source. And no that doesn't mean turn the slav up to 100 and start kebab removal. The government at the moment has tried a well-intentioned but kinda limp-dick approach for integration and that *might* help to some extent but I doubt it'll make much of a difference at this point.

Getting rid of this toxic fear of being labelled a wacist for speaking out against criminals simply because they are muslims would be a good start (cough, Rotherham, cough).
