Well the over consumption of it is bad. A pipe with friends on a get together is okay. Honestly there is an issue with kids wanting to get high or play with new drugs and are easily swayed by these drugs.

but its not permanent, and its not negatively changing it, hell, it makes the user pretty happy mos of the time.

The ability to control every single one of my faculties is the most important thing about my autonomy, and I think everybody else should think the same way. Your brain is the most important organ in your entire body--the last thing you should want to do is play around with it. Even if it's temporary. It's just not for you to mess around with.

I see your point, but I most of the smokers I know, not the ones here, like the way it affects your brain.

Plus there's also the fact that most smokers I know are also depressed and they see it as a way of having fun when down.

I'm not against using it for medical purposes, but I mean, when you start claiming stuff like, "Oh, I use it because I'm depressed," or "It helps my anxiety," it begins to start sounding like bullshit to me. That sounds like a really convenient excuse just to get high without getting frowned upon. But whatever.
