Is there a reason we can embed images without text in a post, but not youtube videos?

I'd like to know too, you need to play the Youtube video, but a shocking image can be in your face immediately.

And any breakthrough on playing Youtube videos at a certain time?

Hmm...
The youtube code is a third party plugin and it obviously has some bugs. The software likely doesn't consider the iframe as space or characters.
