Impersonating is against the rules.
Arky is a baby
That's like saying Prehistoric can't be named Eliab because it's too close to Elegiac

Impersonation.Unlike with someone like say Kinder, Jay, or the b.net mods whom pretty much everyone knows are either banned or not using the site Nexus is really only referred to as Arky by a handful of people. So for those who aren't familiar or friends with him you coming in and claiming you're Arky can actually confuse people into thinking you're him.

However, LC's reasoning for that is horribly off, since this QuoteSo for those who aren't familiar or friends with him you coming in and claiming you're Arky can actually confuse people into thinking you're him.Still aplies to Bnet mods and banned users, the later especially since they can still be talked about and in that situation, cause confusion.

Now see what you're doing right here is a bit different, you're not going around telling people that you are indeed the same Arky that people made threads about. You aren't claiming to be Nexus while using his old name.

You aren't claiming to be Nexus while using his old name.I don't see why being banned or not should matter.Well first offhttp://sep7agon.net/index.php?action=profile;u=7That's Kinders profile so Digger wouldn't actually be impersonating him even if he weren't perma banned. And second off all of his posts contain "This user has been blacklisted from posting on the forums. Until the blacklist is lifted, all posts made by this user have been hidden and require a Sep7agon® SecondClass Premium Membership to view.".There's no indication that Solonoid isn't the actual Arky in this situation other than a he-said-she-said. This isn't really a black and white case since it's true that there is no user with the username of Arky currently. However the name Arky on here is known, and usually used to refer to Nexus by people who are friends with him. However it's been demonstrated before on here before that a good chunk of people do not know this so therefore Solonoid coming in and claiming to be Nexus using his old alias is a form of impersonation that can easily trick people. This is why the decision was made to make Solonoid change his name.
Still applies to banned users since they can still be talked about and in that situation, cause confusion. Also the fact that banned members still have posts here that'll show up if you search their names, from people who've quoted them.

Since this got absolutely ignored in an attempt to I don't even know what.(I checked this too)QuoteStill applies to banned users since they can still be talked about and in that situation, cause confusion. Also the fact that banned members still have posts here that'll show up if you search their names, from people who've quoted them.Oh and if the site lets people use a name, then it should be ok, if Nexus didn't want anyone to use "his name" that isn't his on this website, then he should've signed up with it.Or asked Cheat to reserve it, which I guess is what everyone should do with every username they've ever used even if they don't use it, just in case it causes confusion.
IF I CAN'T POST KINDER'S DICK AND EMBARRASSING NOELLE PM'S IN ANARCHY THEN DIGGER CAN'T WEAR HIS NAME!DOWN WITH LC! STAND WITH RAND!
