What's the background colour hex value?

The dark grey one. I want to effectively get rid of the borders on my avatar and nameplate

there's an easy way to figure out

>print screen
>paste in Paint
>color picker
>click on the grey background
>edit colors

turns out to have a hue of 160, a saturation of 6, and a luminance of 35
the RGB composition is 37 red, 37 green, and 38 blue

to figure out the hex, there are many websites that can do this for you, but i like this one

turns out to be #252526

remember to take out the hash for this website

Usually I would have just used my laptop to go on photoshop, but I don't have it on me right now

To be fair, not everyone has photoshop

I'm doing graphics so I have it but it's a relatively expensive piece of software. Everyone haa paint so it's a reasonable assumption to make

Anyway, it looks much better now without the border

just download a color picker addon for your browser and skip all the dumb steps it usually takes

It's easier than that. Right click, inspect element, and look for the background or background-color property.

I know. I have it installed. But for CSS elements, inspect element is king.
