"Start related topic"


I think the notification for quotes is genius, but this seemed like a pretty useful function back on B.net that I'm surprised hasn't made its way here.

I guess it's a feature some people would find useful.
However, personally I think it's pointless.

I agree, it's a pointless and silly idea. You can just link to the topic in question if you really want to start a related topic.

It is. The only thing you have to to is have two taps open. One for the thread you're basing it off of and the other for the topic creation. Linking the links to each other would take seconds. It wouldn't be worth the time doing a featrue that takes seconds to do. 

Of course you can just link to the previous thread. Having the related thread linked at the top of the original thread was what made it a good feature. It was just formatted more smoother than adding links yourself.
