They are delayed and disappear too fast. Not to mention it tells me when someone comments on a thread, I don't want to know that. I just want to know if I'm quoted. Is there a setting for this? Is there a way to look back at the notifications I've received?

Select "Updated Topics".Notifications are pulled from that list, so that is your notification page. Unfortunately, SMF has no reliable way of determining whether or not someone quoted you, so that feature cannot be added. If you have too many notifications popping up, go into Updated Topics and mark all as read. That'll clear them out.

I understand some people may get false notifications (yours would come up if we're talking about Gasai playing card games, for instance), but you could have an option to just turn if off if people get annoyed.
