Why don't bans affect your rank at all?

Yeah getting warned/banned makes you lose your custom title for a little bit, big deal. How is that even considered a punishment? If someone gets any kind of ban they should at least get bumped down a rank or two to convince them not to act like shitheads. Anyone else agree?

This was the case at some point...

But Kinder is Mythic, so Cheat probably changed it.

I don't believe the Trust System takes into account bans/moderation history at a severe enough level, but I do believe that will be changing soon.

Get a ban and have your trust negatively affected? I thought we were already doing that.

The punishment for a ban is that you're banned. Getting a lowered trust also makes sense, but it makes no sense at all to demote a Legendary to an Ascended, for instance, just for a lite ban.

Oh, it wouldn't apply to one lite-ban.

But, for users who routinely find themselves either lite-banned, or with more severe penalties, could have more trouble.
