B.net would occasionally go down for maintenance. What happens during maintenance?
I've got a testing area that I use to tweak the larger updates, so most of the time you won't see anything unless you happen to be unfortunate enough to request a page when I'm uploading a file. But then all you need to do is refresh the page and you're good.
The larger updates
will require maintenance, and will most likely be met with one of two things:
1. An in-site message that tells you the site is down and a login form for admins.
2. A blank white page with an explanation of why the site is down.
We're probably going to switch hosts again (I've found a higher-rated, more reasonable host and there's no sense in keeping this one), but when
that happens, no message can be displayed because the URL Sep7agon.net won't go anywhere while we migrate.
But that's a few weeks away, most likely, and I'll tell you guys more as I know more.
