People probs do it for gits and shiggles mostly. if Cheat is gonna have rewards for the highest ranked members then I suppose he'll need to find a way to prevent it from happening a lot or drastically reduce the amount of weight it has on members.

Funny thing was it was after I said my opinion on the anime spam that was happening then.

I think Cheat said he wanted to unclutter things. I guess there were too many pinned thread in The Flood. Five does not seem like a lot to me, there were a bunch on bungie.net.

It's for the higher ranks. Heroic + 3000 posts gets custom nameplates and Mythic gets custom titles.
