I'm sure there are other examples else where but I'm going to use the term 'spam thread' right now.
So tell me, what's the difference between a 'hangout' thread and a spam thread? Absolutely NOTHING.
So why are those threads not locked?
As long as threads like those and others exist I should be allowed to post spam threads, Because according to existing on-going threads they're allowed, right?

If a topic has discussion, even if it's as inane as it's possible to be, then I don't think that should be considered spam. I'll discuss this with the other mods though, see if there can be some sort of clarified rule to stick to.

One worded answers are spam, a reply irrelevant to the topic is spam, a reaction picture or gif could be considered spam if it wasn't accompanied by a text pertaining to the topic.
