Is There a Reason Why Scrolling Through the Boards Seems Slow?

The site seems a bit sluggish when I'm on my laptop. Not so much for loading each page (unless there's a lot of images/ videos on it), but for scrolling though the boards and threads.

Noticing it now, it feels like there's a delay between scrolling and the page actually moving up/down

I'm assuming this is ad related. Can you try scrolling with adblock on?

I used to have a problem with threads taking for ever to load, and my PC would freeze until the page loaded. Then I enabled Adblock for a bit, disabled it, and the problem was gone.
