If they do implement this, I think it should only be a choice of black or white.
But why...Why would giving people the ability to change their name to bright pink be a bad thing (given that it's easy to implement)?
In my opinion, it would make the over all look of the site a little chaotic. While customization is good, it can hurt the appearance if you go overboard with it
There are already options to disable signatures and avatars. Why not the same for usernames?
Think of all the bastards who would have eye-burning colours

I may seem like an asshole in saying this, but there are a few people's posts that I don't read, or pay less attention to, because I don't want to look at their avatar/ nameplate.
