Let's make the homepage not just centered around the most recent news article, but actually timely relevant. When Anarchy ends, change it to some vanilla Sep7 thing. This will let us avoid "Happy Birthday, Blaze", and things that happened more than a month ago on the front page.

More banners announcing game nights/tournaments would be nice, I really liked that Smash Tournament one last year. Any of the Architects on often enough to update it regularly/does the site's coding permit easily interchangeable banners currently?

It's definitely one of those things that only really works when you have a regular stream of content to show for it.
