NeoGAF uses Adsense and that site has plenty of profanity and nsfw threads. You figure it out, because I have no idea and neither do hundreds of other site owners who got the shaft.Google Adsense Account DisabledHello,With our advertising programs we strive to create an online ecosystem that benefits publishers, advertisers, and users. For this reason we sometimes have to take action against accounts that show behavior towards users or advertisers that may negatively impact how the ecosystem is perceived. In your case, we have detected invalid activity on your AdSense account and as a result it has been disabled. We are limited in the amount of information we can provide about your specific violation. We understand that you may want more information about your account activity. However, in order to protect our proprietary detection systems, we are unable to provide further details. In some cases publishers can make significant changes to correct the violation and are willing to comply with the AdSense program policies. For this reason, we offer an appeal process as an opportunity to work with you to resolve the issue. Please be sure to provide a complete analysis of your traffic or other reasons that may have generated invalid activity in your appeal. Submit your appeal using this form and we will follow up accordingly. Before submission, please review the list of the top reasons for account closure. Thanks for your understanding.Sincerely,The Google AdSense TeamAre you going to send a reply email asking what should be changed on this site? This slap in the face has nothing to do with content. They think we have been clicking ads to generate money for the site maliciously. It's bullshit, but we can't do anything about it. I can tell you that if this sticks, I am out over $200.Could it be because of all of those ad people that generate a lot of guests? Maybe the numerous spikes of guests and ad revenue triggered something.I took those ads away like half a week ago. It's possible that was what made them look into it, but you should look up "invalid activity adsense" and watch some of the videos you find. This happens all the time; sometimes huge, $10,000 per month sites get axed after a year or more of clean, fine activity. Are the guests that are online right now more investors or something?Yeah. Since we are back to Adversal and the ad is now above the fold (which brings in the big bucks, so to speak) we are getting potential ad slot bidders.I don't know about the desktop version, but for mobile (ipad) the ads are fine. They don't play any sound and aren't sketchy. The ads were set to allow video and that (I think) was causing issues. It should be fixed now.Since we are no longer bound by adsense, I have enabled ads from adult/dating sites on the forum, so that should help us get some more interested parties.

I'm getting a lot of adds that play a sound when the cursor goes over them and it's getting REALLY annoying.
The boys in engineering handed me a quick fix for this, hold on. *paper crumpling*"Stop moving your cursor over the ads.Just kidding. Those are against the rules; Adversal will take care of them eventually.
