It's a problem I had, after a while though I just felt enough pressure that I kinda forced myself to talk to other people. I think my life would be even more miserable if I didn't have people to talk to, even though it always felt weird. Even though I love my solitude, I need people to lean on from time to time. Seriously Ender, you've helped me enough, know that I'm ready to pay back the favor at any time.

Serious / Does the number of parties in a political system help?
« on: February 04, 2016, 10:35:00 PM »
The American political system seems to be incredibly divided, as almost everything that one party believes in, the other party now has to be opposed to that. It makes compromise almost impossible, and, personally, its the only reason I don't want Bernie in office. If it is a republican majority, nothing will get done, as his views are seen in the republican party as more radical than Obama. If there was a third, or maybe even a fourth party, would that help? It would be almost impossible to hold a set of beliefs that no other party had. So, it holds the possibility for more compromise and flexibility within the government.

For the record, I am not from America. I am from Canada, where we have 4 main parties, with many smaller parties.

I feel the need to mention, for everyone screaming and worrying over gun control, your guns will never be taken
lmao

They'll never be taken because we'll fight tooth and nail for them. The minute we back down or relax, we lose.

Yeah, that's one reason why gun control will never happen in America. But seriously, 300 million guns, you cant take even half of them without military action and probably hundreds of death. Not to mention you could literally just bury a bunch of guns. If the government attempted to buy the guns, almost no one would sell them back to the government.

I feel the need to mention, for everyone screaming and worrying over gun control, your guns will never be taken. America has WAY too many guns to be taken. America has a estimated 300 million guns. Imagine how difficult it would be to locate and take possession of every gun in the land. It's impossible. Gun control really shouldn't be worried about as much as it is, not that it isn't a topic to remember. How I see it, gun control is needed, but your guns will never truly be banned. Do I think they should be? Yeah, but it will never happen.

The Flood / Re: Could you torture someone?
« on: January 23, 2016, 10:32:20 PM »
I could, but that doesn't mean I would want to. If I was able to I would pass it on to another person I would. If no one else would? I think I might.

Also this would require me being a military officer to do this, so, I would have likely been prepared for the situation if I arrived there.

Gaming / Re: Since Fallout 4 is released, let's talk about Elder Scrolls 6.
« on: December 20, 2015, 06:57:53 PM »
I would like Akivir eventually, but I feel like it shouldn't be TES 6, truthfully, I wouldn't mind it being in say TES 7. I would prefer maybe a two country Elder Scrolls game, likely Elsweyr, and Valenwood.

I pray they don't narrow down our choices like they did in Fallout 4. Look at Fallout 3, Megaton was pretty much the defining moment of 3 for me at least.

I also hope that we have more fleshed out factions (I didn't really feel like I was a member of any of the factions besides the stormcloaks in Skyrim). I also hope that we get more music, I loved the music in Skyrim, but I felt like there needed to be more. And I hope the music represents the area that we are in (so say its in Elsweyr you would play music that would sound more the Khajit music than the other music in the series).
I feel like Akavir wouldn't really be "Elder Scrolls" though, since pretty much everything happens on Tamriel and I don't think Akavir is very developed lore wise
Yeah, which means Bethesda has less things to mess up

I don't think it would be a bad thing to go to Akivir, it would allow for a much more flexable story, more races, and a completely unique environment in comparison to the rest of Nirn. The reason I don't want TES 6 to take place there though, is because Its too ambitious I think. The regions are massive, and vary greatly. Many factions within Akivir are completely hostile. Not to mention Dragons would be there again, which some could see as repetitive ( we had them in Skyrim, so if we have them again, it could be kinda repetitive, they would likely have to re-do dragon combat as we know it, but they probably wouldn't). I would prefer them to use TES 6 as a stepping stone to get new ideas through, and then go to Akivir, it would probably be a better game for it.

I actually didn't even mean to make it sound like that. I meant if I had feelings for her.

Silver, red, or maybe purple. Synthetic Crystals just sound more to my tastes than organic, but purple looks on point.

The Flood / Do you regret your relationships after they are over?
« on: December 15, 2015, 11:32:32 PM »
I just started talking to my ex again, and memories came back from when we were together. Despite it ending horribly, I still kinda miss it. I don't want to be back with her, but I still look back with happiness, even though I had some of the worst experiences of my life with her. Is this normal? Or am I just at a weird state?

The Flood / Re: Where are your ancestors from?
« on: December 15, 2015, 10:20:27 PM »
Well, my mother's side of the family got out of Ukraine before it joined the USSR, so, that's pretty much how I'm alive. So, my mother's side is Ukranian/Polish (the border moved around a lot in the area, so its hard to say what I really am) and Swedish. My father is mostly Scottish, Irish, and German. My family traveled around a lot, so it's safe to say I'm pretty much a northern mut.

Vancouver (Canada) is just better IMO. I don't think I could live in cali, just doesn't feel right imo, its a place that I like to visit, but I would never live there. Literally everything you mentioned there, I can do here, but we actually have water and massive forests. Plus I don't have to worry about getting shot, and the drinking age is lower here.

The Flood / Re: How do I get this girl back?

Okay, you talk about her like she's some sort of a toy. No wonder she is pissed off at you. Learn your lesson and move on, that's about all I can really tell you. If she was crazy about you and her feelings just get pissed on by you, then can you blame her for not wanting to get back with you?

The Flood / Re: Favorite Star Wars location?

Yep, it was in SWTOR.

I wasn't a huge fan of SWTOR's gameplay, but I felt the story wasn't horrible. I also felt like Dromund Kaas was probably the most atmospheric area I was able to go to.
