I enjoyed the teaser. It's about time we finally see Krypto get some love in a big budget Hollywood film with Superman.
If anyone is going to get the general audience to like Superman again, its James Gunn. Henry Cavill's portrayal was completely wasted.

I was gifted a Cuban chain that doesn't fit my big ass head and a Los Angeles Dodgers logo pendant with no necklace attached
Uh... so jewelry isn't my thing
Huh, I had you figured for a watch guy honestly.
It was a gift and unexpected. I've yet to try to wear that stuff for the reasons aforementioned.

Look at it this way, you don’t do drugs or drink alcohol as far as I’m concerned. I remember you saying you don’t do any of that. You’re already in better shape than majority of the US. I’d say that’s something to be proud of.

In 2023 it was the worst year of my life. I had hope that 2024 would be better and it was, 2024 has been good to me.
As for 2025 I want to travel more. I'll see what happens as the new year approaches.

The entire Central Valley (besides Sacramento) being Red in the 2024 election is shocking to me. Usually its just Kern, Tulare, and Kings counties that are known for being Republican. The further north you go, the more Democrat pro counties you encounter. Would never expect shitholes like Fresno, Manteca, Merced, and Stockton to flip.
it shocked me to learn that my home county, san bernardino, voted red. i checked the standings on tuesday night, and saw that it was very close, i think harris was only leading with, like, 52% or something, so i thought to myself dang that's closer than i imagined
next day it was red by a large margin and i was like what in the world
i talked to about it with a friend (who's a bit more into politics than i am) and he was like yeah SB is more red than you think
it genuinely baffled me
I think part of it has to do with people from LA and other areas where the cost of living is insanely high. They're tired of the same old policies and move somewhere else when nothing changes. That's why Nevada and Arizona were important swing states because of all the California transplants.

The craziest thing to me in this election is the Republicans winning the popular vote for the first time since 2004
One of the elections of all time

Big Halo news. Moving to Unreal Engine 5 343 industries are done. Its now Halo Studios.
Not sure why people are getting their hopes up so high about that. That studio rebrand is like cutting off somebody's face, putting another over it, and calling them a different person. I don't think it's got good chances of panning out.
Pure hopium at this point. Though they did do a 180 with MCC so they are capable of making something good. The switch to UE is positively received because new hires won't need to spend a lot of time understanding the legacy engine.
the switch to unreal to attract graphics coomers
Graphics aside, there is an important positive - new hires will not have to spend a lot of time learning some proprietary engine and instead be ready to begin productive work much sooner. This should help speed up development. Easier to experiment with, quicker to prototype features. This combined with changes in management gives me some hope.
This is a good thing because the Slipspace Engine is complete dogshit. Halo's gameplay and physics would work well with UE.

I enjoy Lady Gaga's music and the first Joker movie. There was no need for a sequel. I had 0 interest in watching it.

In March 2023 when some asshole came flying out of a parking lot and crashed into me, my car spun and nearly went into the opposite lane with oncoming traffic. Instead my car went perfectly into the middle turning lane where there wasn't any other cars or obstacle for me to hit. Whether there was some divine intervention involved or purely a coincidence that stopped my car in time to spare my life I'll never know.
For the next several months, and hell even now, that moment would replay in my head over and over again because its something that sticks with you. That was just a random day after work and I was nearly killed because some guy couldn't wait 10 seconds for cars to pass.
I am terrified of dying, but I'm more terrified of the fact that I've never lived a life to be proud of once I'm gone.

It's been 100+ degrees almost every single day since the middle of June, the hottest days were by the 4th of July where it was 115-117 degrees when in direct sunlight. It's so hot that it feels like your eyes are burning. Even when the Sun goes down its still around 90-95 outside at night.
At least the beach is only an hour away. Been there a few times already this summer to escape the heat.
Coolest day in California
Actually...

This is so sad if this ends up being true
Brother Laura loomer has got to be one of the most garbage sources imaginable.
Ignore my previous post, a lot of other sources I follow on twitter that are legit are all discrediting her for everything. My mistake.

She was the one that originally reported the medical emergency on Air Force One and everyone attacked her for it

We’re going for Pixarfest in Disneyland, followed by Universal Hollywood, followed by another Hollywood-area day, and ending back at Disneyland for D23.
Congratulations man, I wish you and your wife the best in life. Where at in California are you guys planning on visiting?
Nice, Universal Studios is fun as hell. Make sure you do the Studio Tour while you’re there. Also avoid Hollywood Blvd and the Walk of Fame, it’s a cesspool.

Yeah, I don’t want to say he just won the election but he got the perfect galvanizing force now. Meanwhile Biden literally doesn’t even remember who’s standing next to him lol
Biden would have stood there and taken the whole mag from the shooter
