Really wish kotobukiya would do another production run of The AC1 Nine-Ball kit, as well as the AC3-gen kits. Those are some of my favorite designs but they haven't been produced in a few years and all that's been re-released in recent memory are AC4 kits, which I don't like all that much compared to gen 3.
I'm looking forward to AC6 kits, but I have a feeling I'm only gonna be interested in a few of them, as I'm not a big fan of some.of the sets in the game. I tend to prefer stuff thats in line with gens 1-3 design wise.

Honestly he seems to have just checked out after the hell that was Halo 2 development. He wasn't involved with Halo 3, seems to have done some broad conceptual stuff with destiny but idk what he really does there anymore.

But guys, I wouldn't call any of our Discords active places either, (I don't count spam of autism as an activity) so the issue is not in platform. There are no common activities at the very least in most of those, exception I saw was Jono discord which I would call active enough.

Yeah, I'd say Pyra and Mythra especially sucked because they were clearly just shill picks for Nintendo's latest shit-ass JRPG for weebs to jerk off to, but I do think that's what separates Sora from these characters—it makes all the difference to me that people (at large) actually wanted to have Sora, and went through an organically democratic process to get him there. And after we've been led to believe that Bayonetta won the Smash Ballot for all these years, it was pretty vindicating to learn that it was actually Sora who won all along.
Your issues with Mii Costumes are totally valid. I personally think they're kinda cool, because if nothing else, it's an acknowledgment. I feel worse for Crash fans, who were given absolutely nothing—not even a Spirit (even Rayman has a Spirit).
In agreement regarding crash. I've never played a crash game, I don't think they look interesting and other same goes for crash himself. If crash got in, however, I'd respect that choice. I just can't feel the same about sora. By the way, I appreciate the courtesy of your responses. I haven't been putting much thout into my replies so I apologize if I come across as terse or rude.

I don't like KH either, but I do recognize that it's a very big and important series that means so much to so many people, so it's genuinely difficult for me to be too down on it, especially when I personally know several diehard KH fans.
I would've felt the same if it wound up being Master Chief, because even though I've always thought Halo was trash, coming from B.net, I've come to understand just how meaningful and significant Halo really is to some people, even if it means nothing to me.
That's really the cool thing about big ambitious crossovers like this—not only is there at least one character for everyone, there are also characters that you would never touch with a 10-foot pole, and I would say that this is a positive dichotomy if all it does is make more people happy in the long run.
Not to mention, I also just think Sora fits right in with the cast, and probably could've been in the game since Smash 4 if wrangling the rights from Disney hadn't proved to be such an arduous process. That's definitely a big part of it, too—the fact that Nintendo and Sakurai had the power to finesse the rights to a character owned by DISNEY, a company so notorious for being so protective of its intellectual property—all in the name of fanservice—is an absolute triumph no matter how you look at it.
You got your Doom Slayer, at the very least. That's a character I would've been disappointed with, because I've always felt that Doom's ultraviolence wouldn't be something they'd be able to faithfully represent, and it wouldn't have "fit" the game anyway—so even if it's not what you asked for, a Mii Costume just feels like the better route IMO.
I wasn't pleased with the Mii costume because I find the Mii fighters incredibly boring to play as. Id almost rather the costume not be in at all. As it stands Mii costumes really just feel like "hey here's something that would've been cooler than another jrpg character" Id rather not be reminded of what could have been. I just find it isappointing. The last fighter is sora. Another anime character. Except now they have clown shoes and a big key. We could have gotten chief for all we know. We could have had fun retro callbacks with doomguy (OG Sprite of his face being his icon, etc) (also I think that just because you can't have him literally ripping people in half, doesn't mean it would be a bad representation; brutality can be represented through simple animation quite well) but nah we got sora. If other people are happy whatever that's great, it's just a *really* standard choice to me, between that and the abhorrent swordwaifu character from whatever jrpg she's from.
