Isn't he doing kind of serviceable with the black voting bloc considering how much shit he's got to contend with?

I thought he did better with Black voters than other candidates but I not 100 percent sure on that. Repubs just do shitty with non whites because of the Democratic machine and social pressure instilled by some to not be like whites within black communities and culture (calling other blacks coons pretty much).

The real questions is are you gay if you do it with a trans persons and their feminine  penis?

That sub is fucking amazing. It is an entire group of people's whose entire postions are shitpostings. Oddly enough I did post to the sub and it was not that bad. I came out and flat out said Trump is not my choice when discussing an endorsement by someone and did not receive any nasty messages. Contrast this with my experience of daring to say that feminism is not all evil and that Bernie is not prefect in r/news where I got more hate than anything I have done online.

Can we talk about mental illnesses now?

Diagnose me, Flood.
All of my nightmares for the last few months have been indistinguishable from reality. They start with me waking up to find a "visitor" in my bedroom and staring at me. It was a ghost face last week and a shadowy figure a few months back. It's not sleep paralysis because I get up and scare said creature off when I notice it. I don't wake up at the end--it was like I was awake all along.
Am I going to die?

You forgot to forward one those chain emails and now the curse that they claim will happen will take your life. You are fucked sorry man.

Both MGM and  FGM should be banned but FGM is a seriously horrendous practice that deserves as much hatred as it gets.

« on: April 27, 2016, 04:40:08 AM »
Remember when Halo was good? Pepperidge Farm remembers. Things like a file browser should have been in at least at the time Forge was launched if not on day one. Guardians is a piecemeal product in the scale of Destiny but without an excellent experience like a raid.

For a moment I thought this was some sort of push from Tumblr to get more men to their website. A Spike TV makeover to make it appealing to the dude bros but it is even worse than that. This sounds like a ripe candidate for lawsuits and deaths.

« on: November 09, 2015, 01:33:55 AM »
I am not sure why you would get Blops 3 when Guardians has one of the best multiplayer modes to come out in a long time. When I do not want to sweat I just switch to my alt account (which is bronze tier) and have fun. That sucks though I wish companies would realize how much of difference servers make.

Gaming / Re: Just finished Halo: The Fall of Reach animated
« on: November 09, 2015, 01:28:27 AM »
Hold up, now that the story of Halo 5 took an entire different turn...does that mean that Hunt The Truth is shit now? I don't mean in quality but in a canonical way.

It is still canon and I would consider that the original direction they were going in before things changed. I think they realized if they committed to the Hunt the Truth like sections they would alienate a large portion of their fanbase. Hunt the Truth is one of the better things in the modern day era that 343 has done. Along with Hunters in the Dark and Hunt the Truth the setup for Guardians was great but 343 shat the bed in regards to Guardian's story.

I have done it but not for a friend someone who is supposed to far closer. They committed a horrible act and deserved punishment. They recently died and I gave no fucks about them. Good riddance you bastard was my feeling.

Perhaps if games media did not constantly make click bait titles or scream any ist at the popular game of the day things would get better.  The Anita Sarkisian worship that happens in some gaming circles is harmful. They reduce actual criticism of her work to harassment and this does not allow other feminist voices to even talk about games. Make no mistake the followers of Anita (or any e celeb) can be asshats just because the person they follow is fighting for the greater good does not mean their followers are righteous. The opposition to Gamer Gate is just as bad with lines of thinking such as no bad tactics, only bad targets and you are either with us or you are not real. It is just a giant clusterfuck and a flamewar that has grown way out of control. Best thing to do is let both sides die down and support who you want.

if a female character's only purpose is to stand around and look hot, then that's just ridiculous,

Ohhhhhh myyyyyyyy

Metal Gear is weird and from my understanding Quiet is an interesting character with agency. She is not a damsel in distress and besides you can get alternative outfits that cover her up. Does not one Metal Gear game make you run around naked as the protagonist or something for a section? Metal Gear is weird and Japan in general has a different set of guidelines surrounding sexuality than the west.

Serious / Re: Where do you draw the line when it comes to humor?
« on: November 08, 2015, 03:27:28 PM »
That line does not really exist unless it is has gone to the level of abuse. Overall jokes can be a very powerful tool to disuss issues and attitudes. Making a joke about women getting ready in the morning or the habits of men during there um private time allow us to think about things we often do not discuss. Obviously banter among friends is usually harsher but that is something I cherish.

Both sides of Gamergate are complete ass wipes,  Both sides overreact to the smallest things and shun the unbelievers.  The media narrative surrounding Gamergate has been awful for many reasons. First off the media forgot the adage do not feed the trolls and poked a sleeping bear of the gaming community.  Boom now you have a controversy and games media decided to throw gas on the fire. Publicizing threats and giving Gamergate attention allowed trolls to use it as cover.  They did not cover that all types of people were getting abuse (on both sides) and only focused on those who fit their ideological mold. Overall the media created this mess by creating clickbait and employed guilt by association on a massive scale. Neutrals were attacked by both sides and people who said calm the fuck down to both sides had brigades of people harnessing them (Total Biscuit being a prime example of that).  Gamergate did however at least show the ugly side of the industry on both sides. Still as much as I hate them Gamergate they did manage to have a civil conversation on games journalism at SPJ AirPlay.  I also found new voices to listen to and although I may not agree them 100 percent they still can bring up valid points. People like Liana K (one of my favorite people covering games right now) and others have called out the bullshit on both sides, support them not hate on others.

Serious / Re: Do you think Africa would be better off...
« on: November 05, 2015, 11:41:33 AM »
Overall considering that Europeans screwed it up so bad probably. It would have not been an ideal situation but at least you would have had stronger and hopefully less corrupt central governments. The real issue is that European powers gave no regard to ethnic and tribal issues when it came to determining borders.. They drew the maps blindly and did not think about how borders drawn by powerful white people would effect the native populations.

Serious / Re: Clinton accuses Sanders of being "sexist" and "racist."
« on: November 05, 2015, 11:34:53 AM »
The accusation is just so laughable. Calling Bernie racist or sexist is like calling the Pope a pagan. Heck he's probably more of a feminist than Hillary tbh.

The whole Black Lives matter incident cemented my support of him. He essentially was hounded by  trolls and choose to let them speak. He did not kick them off the stage and instead let them spout their racist drivel.  No confrontation which would have made things worse and showed that he has a cool head. The funny thing is that Bernie is probably the least racist and sexist candidate to run in a long time. Instead of playing the ist card he actually talks about what leads to those inequalities. A complete opposite of Hilary who will use anything to advance her campaign.

Serious / Re: Clinton accuses Sanders of being "sexist" and "racist."
« on: November 05, 2015, 11:22:19 AM »
Hilary will get a massive amount of support just because she is woman and playing the sexist card may work. The whole idea is bunk but with how certain segments of the left are saying some is an ist is enough to instill a great deal of backlash. Bernie's polices may not be perfectly ideal but at least he has conviction and is willing to stand up for his ideals. That is much more than you can say for most politicians.  Clinton on the other hand will change her position if it benefits her even in the slightest manner. I wish we had someone like Elizabeth Warren running against Clinton (because the sexist claims cannot be made) but we have to settle for Bernie.
