My headphones just broke, and now I'm looking for a nice, comfortable pair of headphones to listen to music and watch the occasional movie with. I listen to every single genre of music except . I'm currently eying the NVX XPT100 and Sony MDR V6. It seems like the V6 has better build quality and the XPT100 is more comfortable. What do you guys think?

When I was in kindergarten I was running around the place with my friend when I tripped and the entire weight of my body landed on my left pinky, resulting in a fracture. I can't straighten it now.
In my last year of primary school my friend and I were pulling at this object, I forgot what it was, and I fell down backwards when he released, smashing my wrist into the ground. Broke my wrist and put my left arm out of commission for a few months.
The doctor fucking used a saw to remove the cast when it was over, he lost his footing and almost cleaved my fucking arm clean off.
Long story short, bone related injuries are a bitch.

The attention whore trend is just that, a trend that will die off in a day or two. How about instead of complaining about it you actually create an original thread?
Porch day would have died off "in a day or two" too after the anniversary. Why not leave all the spam there then? Also I don't see how creating an original thread would solve the issue and I'm not in the mood to start one in the first place.

Porch day and the likes were used as trolling. I should know, I participated in them. There is a difference between making parody threads and making bandwagon threads. One is used for trolling and the other is not.
It is true that they were made with different intentions in mind, but they achieve the same result of clogging up the forum. Attention whore threads =/= meatspin. your logic is flawed. These threads aren't breaking any of the rules, meatspin would be.
While they do not break the rules they undeniably take up space on the front page pushing original threads to the back or killing them outright. Believe it or not, the Flood runs on these original threads...

You're asking me to ban people for jumping on a bandwagon. No I'm not. You could lock the threads. Would Recon or Duardo have banned people for this on B.net? Yes, people were banned for bandwagoning and making shitty threads. You raised up porch day just now which is a good example where all the threads are locked every year and bans are given out freely.

Oh yes because Honest Opinion threads are so goddamn detrimental. Please.
I could think of way worse things to clog up the forum.
Would you like Porch parodies?
Would you like some good ol' Comm's swag meme threads?
Last I remembered, the front page of the Flood looked like this. We had a lot of posts about current events, tech stuff and gaming related news. The threads were required to generate discussion about the topic, and not just for Floodians to blog about their own lives. Currently there is not a single thread reporting on any type of news on the front page of the Flood and there are only about 3 threads with original topics. There are no less than 8 threads asking for "honest opinion" or "AMA" about themselves. These users are using the forum as a popularity and ego boost, me me me let's talk about me. It is alright to talk about events in your personal life, but creating threads to ask other people to talk about you just completely goes against the spirit of what the Flood used to be. The fact that the moderation team does not care about so many threads on the front page and ignores it is extremely worrying.

To each his own. Getting butthurt over it is just as pitiful and annoying.
So what you're saying is you don't care if the quality of this forum goes down the gutter? And don't reply with "the flood was always bad", you know what I mean.

Everyone that participates in an online forum is seeking attention in one form or another.
This is true, but so what? This doesn't address the point at all. The Flood wasn't created to have "Honest Opinion" threads.

Yell back at them or file a complaint to someone.

Stop making popularity threads for attention. It's fucking annoying as shit and clogs up the forum with meaningless rubbish.
Why aren't the mods banning this bullshit?

I used to be really really good at sniping in Reach.
Lost all my sniping skills after switching to Battlefield for a year, now I can't snipe worth a shit in Halo 3 and have no chance of gaining my skills back since nobody ever plays Team Snipers.

I used to be in an outfit called Redback Company on the Australian server in Planetside 2. Sunk like 300 hours into that game, Aussies were great people to play with.
