New law requires idenfitication before browsing porn.Porn giant Mindgeek – owner of popular online fleshpots Pornhub, RedTube, YouPorn and Brazzers – will now collect names, mobile phone number, addresses and dates and place of birth before users log in.
You’ll have to create a username and password to use Pornhub from April onwards.
The AgeID system has caused alarm among privacy campaigners – who say it has the potential for Ashley Madison-style leaks.
‘You can imagine how much data that is going to give MindGeek, if they’re going to have stats on what people click on, what porn sites people click on, what they pay for,’ said porn site owner Pandora Blake at an Open Rights Group meeting in London last year. ArticleA fundamental design flaw in Intel's processor chips has forced a significant redesign of the Linux and Windows kernels to defang the chip-level security bug.
Programmers are scrambling to overhaul the open-source Linux kernel's virtual memory system. Meanwhile, Microsoft is expected to publicly introduce the necessary changes to its Windows operating system in an upcoming Patch Tuesday: these changes were seeded to beta testers running fast-ring Windows Insider builds in November and December.
Crucially, these updates to both Linux and Windows will incur a performance hit on Intel products. The effects are still being benchmarked, however we're looking at a ballpark figure of five to 30 percent slow down, depending on the task and the processor model. More recent Intel chips have features – such as PCID – to reduce the performance hit. Your mileage may vary. So, who else is going to be fucked?

Do you prefer a well designed level/mechanics or do you like the mystery of something new every time? Is a mix of both the best combination?
For example, the borderlands levels are designed, but the guns found in chests are procedurally generated with random parts.

Burger King has launched it's own cryptocurrency.According to New York Magazine (via local Russian news reports), the Russian subdivision of Burger King has launched its own cryptocurrency, aptly called “Whoppercoin.
The Whoppercoin launched in tandem with a new loyalty program. For each Whopper burger customers purchase, they'll receive one Whoppercoin in a special cryptocurrency wallet. While the coins’ wider use is unclear, some reports suggest that the Whoppercoin will be accepted as payment at Burger Kings across Russia. What's next? Walmartbucks?

 ArticlePlayStation social media accounts across the globe were compromised today in concurrence with an alleged database leak. The guilty party asks (with questionable grammar) for a PlayStation representative to contact them.
These messages point to the security hacker group OurMine being responsible. If this is legitimate, then this case joins HBO, TechCrunch, and BuzzFeed as high-profile targets of the group. This isn't PlayStation's first rodeo with possible customer data leaks, either. A leak of data related to PlayStation Network and Qriocity services data led to 23 days of outage back in 2011. In this case, the social media posts claim that the databases "aren't going to be shared."
While no breach of customer data has been confirmed yet, and as of the time writing PlayStation Network is still up, caution is advised. Changing your password on the service, and other services where you used the same password, goes a long way. And while Sony told Destructoid back in 2011 that credit card security codes aren't stored, I would keep an eye on future bills if your credit card info was saved on a PlayStation device. Just to be safe. It might be a good idea to change your password just in case.

There are also reports of a live hostage incident at a Turkish restaurant near the scene. The vehicle hit pedestrians in Las Ramblas, a busy tree-lined promenade in the centre of the city, the Ministry of the Interior said. Barcelona police have said they believe that the attack is terror-related.
