When this site launched i was 13 years old, I'm 23 now, I've changed so much in that time frame (as everybody hopefully does between those ages), or even since 2018 when I was last regularly active here,
I have some absolute garbage ass coalposting I did as a kid back in the day attached to this account and yet I still managed to fit right in with yall, many of you being several years older than me. It's unironically incredible this place is still active, still active with the same front page banner from 2018 no less. I can't imagine many other forums with such a specific and peculiar origin story have lasted so long, an origin story I also love to recount to people whenever the topic of forums/websites we hung out on as kids comes up in conversation 7

For me it's not so much only having one biome but the fact that the entire eastern half of the map is locked off from exploration, without any content outside of the one story mission that takes place there. Like I was seriously dumbfounded when I tried flying over there and got the "return to battlefield" message.
I'm thinking (hoping) that since Infinite is supposed to be a 10 year live service game, that they're gonna do regular story expansions (like the same way destiny 2 did it? Idk didnt play destiny) and maybe eventually a full campaign sequel(s) within Infinite, introducing a new biome and everything. 11

basically the big personality changes & maturations you'd expect between the ages of 13 (when the site started) and 20 (now). became very active on tumblr and twitter & accrued large followings there, made a whole bunch of new friends, ive grown immensely as an artist (in 2014 i was basically just starting out) i had my first relationship discovered my sexuality, developed and expanded my interests, first job drivers license graduated high school & community college etc etc. still living with my parents though

Serious / Re: Justifying Riots« on: June 01, 2020, 01:09:10 PM »
There is a lot of division right now among the protests that are def being exacerbated by the media idea of "outside agitators". This started with a Target getting fucked up and now I've seen a video of people defending another target from being harmed. police don't need to see looting to get violent anyway, as been demonstrated by plenty examples now of them getting aggressive first towards peaceful protestors

Serious / Re: Justifying Riots« on: June 01, 2020, 01:06:48 PM »A good number of posts on social media still link it to a BLM movement for Goerge Floyd's death, but it appears to have been co-opted by Antifa which is only going to sully the original idea and render it invalid. Regardless, several posts on Twitter last night called for it to move to suburban neighborhoods, that would be an absolutely garbage idea if their intent is to hurt the idea of authoritative power, attacking innocent civilians trying to keep themselves safe at home is a complete contradiction to that.it can't be co-opted by antifa because antifa is not an actual singular organizationHow do you de-escalate a rioting crowd? I think that is the key question here. I doubt there is a right answer. 28
Serious / Re: Justifying Riots« on: May 30, 2020, 09:34:19 PM »
as it turns out that ML target is still gonna give full pay to its employees in a surprisingly humble move so that was literally no big deal

Serious / Re: Justifying Riots« on: May 30, 2020, 03:52:31 PM »
also worth mentioning, i got a friend who literally works (or worked) at that ML target that got trashed. she isnt really bothered lol she doesnt know if she still has a job yet but if not she'll just file for unemployment

I was just about to say, for the most part in Minneapolis damage to local businesses was indirect due to spreading fires that were possibly started under suspicious circumstances. as for the protests in other cities there's a lot of video evidence of sketchy white guys doing a lot of the property damage
