Yeah, I'm basically a rock/metal/hardcore kinda guy. Some of my current favourites are Alice in Chains, Deftones (funnily enough), Black Sabbath, Sepultura, 36 Crazyfists, Tool, Converge, Decapitated, Faith No More, Gojira, letlive., Glassjaw, Mogwai, Poison The Well, Machine Head, could go on forever, really, but I especially love my '90s crap!

I enjoy rum, but do not drink too often.

Cool. Do you have a favourite type/brand or do you just drink whatever's there? I love me some spiced rum; my favourite is called Kraken, which actually gave me inspiration for my name on here. :P
Kraken is pretty damn good. I love Malibu Coconut rum though. If I want to get drunk, I will have shots of Bicardi while drinking beer throughout the night.

Besides beer, Kraken is probably my favourite drink. Beer doesn't always agree with me too well so I often switch to good ol' Kraken after a couple. I like the taste of Malibu, but I find the sweetness can get a bit much. Plus, it's only like 20% so not the best value for money. :P I'm too much of a wimp for shots; I drink neat whisky quite regularly, but I usually just sip on it. Don't like the burn much so not one to slam back the shots! What beer do you drink?

Lots of beer.

I prefer really hoppy west coast IPAs, along with black IPAs and rye IPAs.

A good red or brown ale is good, too, but I can take 'em or leave 'em

Not a fan of stouts and porters.

I love IPAs as well; especially the double high strength super-bitter ones. I really love the Hardcore and Jackhammer IPAs by Brewdog, a Scottish brewery based on the American style if you've not heard of them. My favourite IPA ever is definitely the Double Jack by Firestone, though. I really live the odd imperial stout/porter as well. Basically I like beer with a high ABV. :P

Guinness is by far my top beer, although I haven't had the opportunity to try many craft beers.

As far as liquor, I highly enjoy vodka, Jagermeister, and some Jack Daniels.

I love JD and coke; pretty much my go-to drink for something reliably tasty that does the job.

If you like Guinness you might get on well with the darker stout/porter type beers. Craft beer is such a fun thing to get into just for the sheer amount and variety. :)

Haven't been drinking much lately but I usually opt for Blue Moon when I do.
Not really the best selection around here.

I tried Blue Moon a few years back and, in all honesty, didn't care for it too much. My beer palate was pretty underdeveloped, though. Probably ought to pick it up again and see how I like it now.

I was wondering if anyone on here liked to partake of the alcohol from time to time. Me, I'm a pretty big beer geek (craft beer/ale), though I've also been developing my appreciation for scotch whisky of late. Do you drink? If so, what's your favourite drink(s)?

Well, I pretty much live off green tea and herbal infusions. A current favourite of mine is green tea with mango and lychee. The best tea I've ever had, though, is called Temple Tea from Denmark. http://www.ciatdesign.com/en/normann-copenhagen-temple-tea.html Bloody delicious!
