These days, I wouldn't know. I hardly ever play competitive multiplayer. Last time I actively did so was Reach, and I quit that sometime in 2012 I imagine. I've mostly been playing co-op or singleplayer games since then.

EA's getting better. By no means are they saintly, but they've taken a few steps in the right direction. Getting rid of Online Passes was a smart move. Activision is definitely worse.

I'm looking forward to it. It'll be a nice change of pace from superhero movies just being about heroes doing the right thing. The only thing that worries me is the huge cast. When movies start bringing in too many characters, the story is punished for it (Avengers). Here's hoping DC nails this, it's going to be what sets the tone for their upcoming films (Flash, Aquaman, etc.).

Saw a thread from the actual community attempting to come together to play Destiny and Halo 3. DeeJ actually replied to the thread and said something like "We'll show a more appropriate representation of the day."
Like, what? Fucking asshole. Probably didn't mean to come off that way but he did anyway. They have literally no understanding of their real community. They only acknowledge the mindless drones that throw money at their scam of a game. So instead of rewarding their players, or actually playing with them in online matches while offering rewards (steaktaculars, anyone?), they're encouraging them to grind even more, just in case they haven't already grinded enough to get the emblem right away.

Is it anything like the previous games? Because Arkham Asylum + City were a boring counter attack fest.
Knight's combat requires you to rely on more than your counter button/key. As OP said, there is a lot of variety among enemies in each fight. You're gonna have to adapt and change your attacks about every second. That being said, it's still a Batman game. I haven't met anyone that's hated the combat system, but if you didn't like Asylum or City (somehow) then I guess it would only make sense for you to not enjoy Knight either. (Knight is still a pretty damn fun game)

I bought this stand for the Wii that would glow blue, could charge two batteries, and was supposed to cool the system. Honestly, I didn't need the thing. We already had plenty of outlet-based chargers around the house, tons of batteries, and how the fuck was a Wii going to overheat? Either way, it glowed blue, which made the system look a little cool at night, but that never made me want to dust it off and play it.

When I was younger, it was Zelda.
These days, I find Halo and Mass Effect to be the most compelling. Assassin's Creed used to be compelling, but Ubisoft strayed from their narrative prowess, I think they forgot how to properly write a game.
