I do not know why, but if you try to be nice to people they think you want something from them. True i have some fucked up thoughts, but fuck i will not bang any girl i find on the street. I prefer to get to know them before i figure if i like her or not. Still not planning on dating till moving out, or something happens before that.
This is pretty much how I am. I'm not a fan of one night stands or meaningless sex with strangers, I actually enjoy getting to know girls to see if I could possibly date them. Has this strategy worked so far? Nope, considering the fact that I've never been in a committed relationship, but I gotta stay patient.

Alright, so today while I was eating lunch in one of my college's diners before my afternoon class, I saw a pretty girl sitting alone. After contemplating if I should or shouldn't sit next to her for like five minutes, I decided to go for it. So, after sitting down with her and engaging in some small talk, she said that she had to go to class. What did I do? I tried to be nice and grab her garbage to throw away for her, but she snatched it away and said, "Don't worry, I'm not gonna have sex with you." What the fuck?
Why is it that in this day and age, being friendly and acting like a gentleman towards a girl you've just met is considered a bad thing? I feel that girls see a guy doing this and instantly believe that they're just trying to get in their pants, which is definitely not the case all the time, especially in my situation.
What do y'all think? Is chivalry dead/dying?
