Comfortably Numb was their only good song.
Comfortably Numb is overrated as hell.
Hey it's a good song but I don't think it's overrated. Overplayed, maybe. They have more songs that deserve just as much recognition. But the amount of symbolism and the authentic sound of Comfortably Numb is what makes it one of my favorites by them.

I explored Porcupine Tree's discog recently and sort of went on a binge.
Their earlier stuff is heavily inspired by Pink Floyd, actually.
Holy shit, I can't believe you mentioned Porcupine Tree. One of my good friends back in high school was obsessed with that band, he would always listen to Fear of a Blank Planet and Open Car. P sure he's studying abroad in London now. But yeah life story aside, they're a decent band.

Heard Wish You Were Here on the radio the other day, which happens to be one of the first songs I learned on the guitar when I used to play, and now I find myself listening to old Pink Floyd songs regularly. They're rather calming and I love listening to it in my car's sound system.
Anyone else have similar experiences with other artists

I don't think I'd be able to put up with half of the bullshit as the mods do. P sure if the drama queens cried to me enough I'd ban them for the lols and to give them a little break from the site.

I usually run every other day, and a marathon here or there. Stopped over the Winter and got lazy but I'm getting back in the groove of it.
Running gives you a great ass.
Running + squats = perfect booty that's my secret, anyway

There is the threat of killing off native species of the modified plant if it "escaped" into the wild, but most companies have covered that by making the plants sterile.
Of course, that brings up a problem of a reliance on the company to produce the GMO plants every time, and could enforce a monopoly.
Otherwise, they're great.
So why is it that organic foods are always advertising that they're GMO-free? Is it just a marketing ploy or is there something about GMOs that make them bad?

If you don't run everyday and sweat it, You're a fool.
I'm joking, its 100% your choice, as for the topic, I do runs every day.
Isn't that like, hard on your joints and shit?
if you don't stretch and get massaged
this
daily cardio is perfectly healthy as long as you keep yourself limber
if only i had a qt3.14 gf at home who could massage me and keep me limber

If you're not planning on going to college yet then just enjoy being free from school's responsibilities and do what you want with your time.

I haven't done much serious cardiovascular exercise since...January or so.
Told my dad I'll do a triathlon with him on father's day, so I'm starting my new 3-week regimen to prepare for the race. Just hope my lungs can handle the initial stress >.>

Smoke that dank herb and watch FLCL
FLCL?
Absurd show that i imagine would be quite something when high.
furi kuri (fooly cooly), 6 episode anime about coming of age/rites of passage. really great soundtrack, awesome animation sequences, and its absolutely absurd.
Lol, sounds interesting. Might check it out if nothing better to do pops up in my head. Where could I watch it?

Same trouble with me. Been working for about three weeks now. I think. Saturday and Sunday's off. I don't know what to do. Partially because time is short. I'd wish to spend my day with some sort of value and a good end result. Yet am too catious to start anything because it would need more free time than I am able to acquire.
What a quaint paradox. You don't know what to do when you want to do everything. And so here you sit, doing nothing.
Let's take a coin toss. Take it easy. Take some money and go eat something nice and fancy for the evening. Watch some movies you've an itch for. Start something small you know you can finish in an afternoon.
That broken garage door all winter? Re-adjust the wire spools. How about your vehicle? Check the oil, brake fluid, power steering, transmission fluid.
Find the small things.
Might as well check out what Netflix has in store for me, I barely use that anymore but yet I still pay the monthly subscription ... It's funny that you mentioned my car because I've noticed that it's been driving kind of funky lately. Mechanic who changes my oil told me that I need new tires but I still see plenty of treading left on them. I'll try and self-diagnose that today

So here I am, finished with all of my homework for the week and staring at a computer screen with nothing to do. This is also the first day in a few weeks where I don't have work and I really don't know how to spend all of this free time. It's killing me on the inside, really, I hate not being productive/busy with something during the day.
What do?
