i would really love to experience the Enlightenment era during america's colonial days. a time where people questioned the status quo of including religion in every facet of their lives, and began using their own minds to discover the world around them rather than fearing the unknown. thomas paine stands out at the forefront of this type of thinking and is one of my favorite authors from this period, so i'd love to be able to converse with him
