i feel like i'm a mixture of both. while i've had success from making goals and taking things one step at a time, i also know that i always work the hardest when i'm under a lot of pressure, which leads me to consider procrastinating

you know, whenever you go into a situation expecting the worst possible outcome and coming out of it feeling surprisingly positive? i just had one of those...
so i just went to check my grade for a research paper that i wrote for my online class a couple weeks ago. i procrastinated that paper so hard that i was forced to pull an all-nighter to get it done the morning before it had to be turned in. due to those circumstances, i really wasn't expecting anything better than a high C, but i somehow ended up scoring a 93/100. guess you could say i'm feeling very relieved right now
what are some of your experiences with this? it doesn't have to be school-related

Me and a group of friends decided to go to a street festival downtown called ZombiCon, basically the city closes down a block and everyone shows up looking like zombies and it's a great time. There was a stage with a DJ set up and everyone was dancing and having a good time and my friends and I were kinda hanging out a little bit away from the crowd. I was talking to this really cute girl and all of a sudden I hear gunshots not even 10 yards away from me and see multiple people drop to the floor. At that moment my group and I just fucking booked it out of there and didn't look back until we made it back to my car. trudged into work yesterday morning running on < 5 hours of sleep expecting the worst and ended up finally receiving a much-deserved promotion from my boss. now i'm officially a trainer, which is one position below manager, and got a $1 bump in pay. plus, when i'm training a new employee, i get paid an extra dollar/hour as well, so i guess you could say i'm finally moving up in the world :-)
now the weekend is finally here and i can't wait to let loose
